You could test your mirror in the scope. Just point it to horizon and move a
KE tester in front of it (like you would during figuring).
I'd be very interested to see the surface shape of a mirror that is glued to
a 6 or more point cell, as compared to one that has lateral supports
instead. The second case in fact is much like the test stand.
