The fuzziness of the edges of the lines will indicate the general roughness
of the mirror's surface. Look for little burbles in the grayness of the
lines and you will know about how good the surface is. It will be something
that, in a fringe test, will be rather subtle but you can see it when the
fringe cound is low so that the edges are a gentle slope of grayness.
