Re: [ATM] Solar tracking
Mac,
I recall an article from the late '50s, or maybe mid '60s, or perhaps it
was the early '70s. Anyway, it was in Popular Mechanics,...or maybe it was
Popular Electronics, or... hey it was a long time ago. It used new fangled
devices like solar cells and a triac, or maybe it was a diac, and
transistors to keep a panel, fixed in altitude, pointed at the Sun.
I think I may still have the magazine (maybe it was QST... 73?), but I
doubt I can find it, so I googled "solar tracking" and came up with some
hits.
