Hi James, All CCD cameras I have seen ( for astronomy) are cooled devices . All have rather big boxes and those are without exception perpendicular to the optical axys with their bigest surface. How did you manage to have only one squre inch central obstruction. What kind og CCD camera do you have? Regards Vladimir.
