So cut the foam into a triangular cross section.  Actually the surface
has millions of holes and isn't reflective, so this is moot.  My
favorite telescope had the whole tube lined with a solid sheet of black
dyed foam (this was in the days when we were advised to insulate the
tube with cork, which I couldn't get), and it looked really good in
there.
