The focal length will be about 1/2 of an individual lens.  The formula
is:

(F1 x F2) / (F1 + F2 - D)

F1 is the focal length. D is the distance between the lenses, or more
accurately between the principal points.

  For many of us it seems to make more sense to buy an inexpensive
Plossl eyepiece for less than 30 dollars.
