A fascinating adventure.  I built a medium format 9" Slevogt camera as my first ATM project.  Not for the faint of heart.

Do you have a particular instrument type in mind?  I've raytraced most of them and would be happy to assist you in your fall from grace into the dark and unseemly depths of astrophotographic ATM.  Be careful, it's a drug more addictive than heroine and more satisfying than....
