I think that you may be too close to the mirror.  Remember, with a 60"
focal length, your radius is 120", and that's where you should be with the
source/KE.  If you're not there, the source looks like a dot.  Bob your
head while looking at the reflected dot. If the reflection moves in the
same direction as your head, you're inside the radius.  Opposite = outside. 

Good choice, a 6" f/10.  Figure it as well as you can, and be prepared for
some excellent views.
