Re: ATM Two kits for APO making. 6" F/8 and 7" F/8

Ken is right.

This group builds 40 inch reflectors, Maksutovs, Rumacks, several in the
ATM community have built 8,10,11 inch refractors. Money is not the concern
of some on this list. We don't build telescopes because they are cheaper to
build than commercial scopes. We build because of the experimentation and
quality of the scopes we can build. We build because of our thirst of
 Knowledge.
Since you claim we cannot obtain the glass to make these then you must make
available a kit for the ATM community to experiment with. If all you want
is
 to make
a buck off of us advertise in Sky & Tel or Astronomy.
As for the project 'what is the project' to buy your product or to develop
a
 new product
for you to sell, or maybe develop a cheaper better alternative that would
be buildable by any astute amature to incorporate into his scope.

If the latter then I have had you all wrong!

 Tommy

Also Richard I have nothing against any nationality,I work in a dominatly
non american
enviroment.
