ATM Odds and Ends
I recently returned from two weeks out of town. I didn't take a computer
or a modem, so I've spent the last several hours going over the half ton of
e-mail that was waiting for me. To my friends on the list, please forgive
my delayed responses.
I answered a few post just prior to leaving and then, off and on for the
last two weeks, sweated the mistakes I made. I really have to watch these
pre-dawn posts of mine. A couple of mea culpa s will follow shortly.
I spent some time working on two different ATM software projects. Assuming
Hale's ghost continues to rest peacefully, I'll deliver them both forth
with.
While in flight I re-read "The Perfect Machine" by Ronald Florence, well
most of it. What a difference a half decade makes. I'm molding a post and
trying to keep it ATM relevant, on this as well.
Finally, once again I have been bemused by airport security. Though
certainly, it is no longer comic. I was fearful that the days of carry on
travel scopes were numbered, but not so. And I must add, I thank g-d for
statistics and the good will of the majority of humans.
