RE: ATM Glossary

Dennis - I've been looking around like you. Here's the best of what I have
found so far.

http://www.jacksonville.net/~dcass/atmfaq/atm-faq.htm Go to section 6
of the FAQs to find a glossary and section 3 for guidance on mirror
grinding/polishing.

http://mypage.uniserve.ca/~victorp/ This is gives a step-by-step
description, with drawings, on how to grind and polish a mirror.

http://zebu.uoregon.edu/~mbartels/scopes/scopes.html Mel has lots of stuff
here, including how to grind a large thin mirror.

http://zebu.uoregon.edu/~mbartels/mirror/ratemirrors.html Go to the end of
Mel's article on this site to find good links on making a Foucault Tester.
Also check out http://www.stellafane.com/ for some helpful information.

                      Good luck,

                      Ken
