ATM Figuring

I'm working on a 6" f/7. After polishing and cleaning up various minor
defects, I ended up with a very smooth oblate spheroid. Started using
parabolizing stroke (MOT, wide W, etc.), and seem to have dug out the
center some, but the edge is still way high...I would have though that
the OS would have, rather regularly, reduced to sphere, then towards
paraboloid. So, suggestions? Also -- any of you near SE Wisconsin/NE
Illinois, and willing to stop by to take a look at this, and perhaps
give me a hand???
