Seriously confused about what?  You have a little bit of TDE, probably
because the edge really isn't fully polished out yet.  Another test you can
do is look at the glass from the Foucault tester with a bright light
pointing at the mirror and, keeping your eye out of the returned light beam,
look for any scatter of light from the mirror.  If the mirror is basically
polished out, there shouldn't be anything but bright spots here and there
that are dust particles that have landed on the mirror.  You will also get a
good strong return from the backside of the mirror so be aware of that.
