ATM 6" final update!

Hello,

I have been testing my recently polished 6" telescope for about 5 days. The weather
tonight suddenly cleared up after an afternoon of rain. The last past days it was either
cloudy of my eyepieces have been fogging up so I couldnt really test. The moon was right
below jupiter, sort of, so I didnt expect my images to be all that great. I turned to
jupiter with my 17mm eyepiece at 67x and wow! it was breathtaking. I saw four Jovian
moons and 2 bands on jupiter, I then boosted to my 10mm eypiece at 113x and wow! even
better still razor sharp and could extreme detail! The color was awseome. I boosted it up
to an even higher 4mm at 282x and wowWww! Extreme detail and jupiter was BIG! the detail
was superb. This is a mag of 47x per inch of aperture. I know this rates excellent
according to Mel Bartels webpage and this isnt even aluminized! I saw saturns two
divisions. This is 10x better than my 4.5" commercial reflector and it is aluminized. I
just want to know what you think of this!
and what do you think my wavefr
ont is. It is fully parabolic. under ronchi it is smooth and sweeps. Is this good? How
much mag do you think I can go higher?

Tony
