Sorry that you had the CeO dry out but you put a bunch of scratches on the
glass with the dry CeO.  You are going to have to go back to the polishing
stage and polish the glass out all over again and you will probably get
about an inch longer FL as a result from getting the scratches out if you
preferentially polish the edges over the center.  Sometimes you have minor
setbacks and this, unfortunately, is one of them.  Next time you figure, you
will have a chance at doing a better figure than what you had.  Take
advantage of it and do that 1/50th wave surface!
