Hi All, I finally picked up a DC motor and controller for my grinding machine to replace the AC one I've been using. The question I have is the controller has the armature hookup and a hookup for field, but I have only three wires coming out of the motor-two have continuity to each other and the other has continuity to the housing- what wires go where?
