ATMJ had an article on a guy that's working on automating the measuring of
the zone by the trick of flipping half of the image and finding the same
level gray between the two images.  You can probably take that measurement,
move the KE back and forth until you get the right place and then use that
distance number as the entry into the calcualtions for all of the zones.
The biggest problem is probably going to be finding where the mirror is in
the image.
