ATM Making the tool

Hi,

Tommorow I want to start making my tool, and I have a
few questions.

First of all, about beveling the tool, tiles, and
blank. I Don't have a Carbo Stone or whatever you use
to bevel the edges. What should I use instead?

Another question is about putting on the tiles on the
tool. How much epoxy should I put on? A small thin
portion, or a lot of epoxy?

I read somewhere on the net that I should cover all of
the blank with epoxy so the water can't touch the tool
(some places said I should put paint so it won't
chip!). If my tool is Dental Stone, do I still have to
put the epoxy?
