ATM Starting!

Hi,

I want to start doing my mirror before starting to go
to school. I have all of the things I need (even
though I don't have all of the abrasives, but bill
Morgan said it's okey).

Anyway, I need to get to the approximate curve, and
then put on the tiles, and plaster. What I want to
know is how and with what tool I get to that stage
(flat stone?), what abrasives, etc.
