I've got a Willman-Bell kit that I made a tile tool for and am ready to make the pitch lap for polishing. The instructions supplied with the kit say to "warm the tool" before wiping it with turpentine and pouring the melted pitch on it. My questions are: How warm is warm? And what's the best way to get it to this temperature? Immersion in water? Stick it in the oven? Thanks, all. /|_
