ATM New design & Fiberglass question

Hi,

Today me and my airplane-building friend thought of a
REALLY cool system for a portable scope, which is VERY
simple, cheap, and easy to use.

The idea uses 3 tubes which the longest one of them is
half the focal length of the telescope. I might get
the hint, but there's more. If you'd like me to post
the idea on the list, just tell me, even though I
prefer building the design myself, learn from the
mistakes, innovate, and THEN post the design
information.

Well, there is one misadvantage to the system, and
that is that the 3 tubes need to be special-request
thick, and every tube has a different thickness.

Now before I'll start working on the design, I want to
ask anyone of you who works with fiberglass- what the
thickness of a fiberglass tube should be, relatively
to it's diameter and length? With that data, I won't
need to work on experiments and pay many bux, if
anyone has allready a basic idea. With the data you
might have, you basicly hold knowledge which I am
seeking, and I'm willing to pay a lot for it ;-D

Thanks, Asaf.
