ATM MR eyepieces

I have been given some eyepieces from canon microfiche readers.  They are
all marked MR, which I have never heard off.  The amount of sizes I have are
5x 9.5mm, 4x 15mm, 3x 20mm, 4x 25mm, 3x 32mm and one 61mm.  They all appear
defect free.  The wafer thin selves that the lens assemble screw into make
them about 1.15 inch in diameter, I could very easily get some selves turned
up for me that would make them into 1.25 eyepieces.  I will be using 4 of
them on some copy scopes I am building, which one's remain to be seen.  Does
anyone know if  MR eyepieces are worth the trouble of  turning them into
1.25 eyepieces for larger scopes??
