ATM Advanced Technology Pitch Tester

During a visit last night to Joh Cooper, I was shown an advaned
technology pitch tester.  It was based on the fingernail test that is
mentioned throughout telescope making literature.

A calibrated weight was fitted with a highly standardized calibrated
artificial plastic fingernail to produce repeatable assessments of pitch
hardness.

The next logical step will be to use real fingernails extracted from
imprisoned patriots.
