I agree... My club (Delaware Valley Amateur Astronomers) has an ATM group
that meets once a month. Even worse, for me at least, the folks who host
it are spread out. Of the four(?) who rotate having it at their houses,
three live > 1.25 hr drive from me, and that's just too far for me on a
weeknight. (Even on the weekend it would be pushing it.) Even if you
leave aside the distance issue, for me once a month is not enough to be
helpful. If I waited till the next meeting every time I got stuck or had a
question, I'd be taking even longer than I am to finish. So I have been
going it alone, with the help of all the fine folks on the list here.
(Any other Main Line Philly-area ATMs interested in getting together to
compare notes?)
