ATM S&T
I would also like to avoid an extended discussion on the list. But I
do want to drop the hint. I'm fear that we may well have been dumped.
ATMing is in a curious state now. As a group, we are large enough to have
an active exchange in information going on almost constantly. But only with
the aid of people as giving and as dedicated as Mel Bartel. Alas, we do
not seem to be large enough to warrent more than a passing interest from many
commertial vendors. Please, I do not mean to minimize the efforts and
assistance of all the small vendors who cater to this market.
We all recently read the predicament that ATMJ is in and the monumental efforts
that Bill has undertaken to keep it alive. If you don't subscribe to ATMJ, now
would be a good time. If you do, the next time you buy something from a
telescope part vendor, mention that you subscribe to ATMJ.
This list, thank you again Mel and thank you Robert, is worth its weight in
gold. The archive, thank you Andy and thank you University of Missouri, is
better than Fort Knox. I encourage to everyone to note your appreciatian from
time to time.
As for the Sky & Telescope. I won't a dead horse.

PS I won't beat a live horse or any other creature for that matter.
