ATM A source of ronchi gratings

While in our sysadmin's office I was looking at a dismantled hard
drive unit from a PC. There's a ruled grating on glass in some of
those things. (Used to give positional feedback for what track the
heads have been moved to.)

If you've got a broken hard drive unit lying about you might find a
small ronchi grating. . .but be careful, the glass is epoxied to a
metal frame. It'll be tricky getting it off without shattering it.
It might be wiser to cut the frame (usually aluminum) and not try to
break the epoxy/glass bond.

Hope this helps you ronchi testers out there.
