ATM Barlows again.

        Is it true that the power of a barlow increases with the 
distance between your eyepiece and the barlow lens?  What would
happen if I placed a 2Xbarlow 10 inches away from an eyepiece?
Would the power go up exponentially?  Logrithemically? "spelling?"
