Subject: Aluminum Disk

I am very interested in this Aluminum Disk senerio.  I would like to 
find out as much as possible about this concept.  Is it possible for 
someone to make (mold ) their own aluminum disk.  I have foundry 
capablity an have made aluminum ingots before.  It seems to me that this 
type of cast is not much good for anything as the ingots are very porous 
and of a soft quality.  I would like to know more about alloys, and 
tempering, and whatever else would be avalable in this area.  Also I 
would like to find the address or phone number of United Lens.

  I hope everyone watched the Persiad meteor shower last night.  It was 
truly a specticle here in West Texas.
