     There is always the spray on silver that is used for testing..but I 
     have never seen this, and don't know what kind of surface it 
     creates...I think you can get the Spray on Silvering from Peacock 
     Chemicals...

Not knowing when to quit, Mark Russell and I are 
looking into silvering this spherical marvel we are 
going to make at AstroFest -- on the spot.  Are the 
prices we see on silver nitrate really that high? Are 
there any more efficient chemical processes than the 
standard Brashear, etc., methods?  I guess if there 
were we would know about it by now, huh?
     
If anyone has 30 grams or so of silver nitrate they 
would like to donate to a good cause we would 
certainly accept it.  We would be careful and not 
blow ourselves, and our assistants, to Kingdom Come. 
At least, I don't think so!
