I profess to having virtually no knowledge in this area - what little I have has been
greatly expanded by this mailing list over the past week
or two...
Could you use the device that you buy for "sealing" plastic bags? It's a bit like a hair
curling wand, but has two elements that heat and the
plastic bag is placed between them then the jaws are closed - thus melting the bag to
form a seal.
As they are available in various sizes, might this work?
