ATM atm eyecups

>From: Gord Seifert <gseifert@uniserve.com>

>From a letter I submitted to Alan MacRobert [Sky & Tel] on cold weather
observing:

->Eyepiece insulation:
->
->This tubular sock, of polyester fleece material [the ubiquitous outdoor
clothing ->fabric] is 11" in circumference and 15" long. I roll it into
double thickness and ->then 4x thickness. It stretches over my 22mm
Panoptic, with electrical heater. I set ->it [projecting slightly above the
eye-lens] so it functions as a light-shield, ->completely blocking stray
light [even nearby HPS streetlamps], and it insulates the ->heated eyepiece.
