C I have been watching the progression of this topic over the last C week and wonder why no one has suggested black felt.
Ditto for black velvet, which is even better. In fact, I'm yet to find an easily available material that is better (i.e. less reflective) than velvet. Good ones are a bit more expensive, but well worth the money because they will not release the hair.
