(ATM) "How to sag a mirror"

Mark:
I have been thinking about either spin casting or sagging a blank for a
while, and just came up with this idea:
Start by spin-casting a form, from maybe plaster, or from epoxy. Then
cast a (ceramic?) mold in the form, turn it over and put an edge around it,
and finally cast the mirror in it.
This method should give a nice, pre-curved blank with a flat back,
avoids the problems of having the form spinning inside the kiln, and makes me
wonder about that extra set of Corningware I got for Christmas....
Any thoughts, anyone?
