Larry, I am sorry you don't have a chance to look through a thin 12" f/4 plate glass mirror I did with center thickness of 3/8". It performs marvelously on critical high power observing (I could give you e-mails and phone #s of other amateurs who have observed with this scope). It is supported with 9 pt flotation and 3 pt edge.
