atm Composite Fiberglass Tubes

I am interested in building a 15" composite tube which would be light weight, but very rigid. Any experiences with honeycomb, graphite fiber stiffeners, foam laminates, or other similar techniques would be appreciated. Sources for materials are also desired.

The strip-planked glass laminate tubes should be strong and rigid, especially if the strips are laid on a bias, any comments?
