20 years ago (or more) Edmund Scientific used to sell a device called a pitch lap or pitch mat. It was basically a rubber grid that looked like at Tic-Tac-Toe game. You placed it into your warm pitch and pressed it with your mirror and some weights. It eliminated most of the the need to manually cut channels in the pitch. Does anyone know who might sell these today? Thank you.
