If you are going to do this by cementing three lenses (one convex and two
concave) onto a beam splitter, wouldn't the net thickness be larger than
the breadth?  In this case, isn't that more than 20 mm?

This ends up with a separation that is not equal to the RoC (for either the
concave or convex surface).  Is that what you want?
