Re: [ATM] Plastic Lenses (POLYCARBONATE)

Hi Nils,

I have the opposite experience. The cost of hardcoat and
antireflection coating are each more than the cost of the lenses
themselves and the efficacy of the hardcoat is useless in my
experience. My previous glass lenses lasted 12 years and had to be
changed due to prescription (way overdue), but were unmarked. The
'hardcoated' plastic lenses were practically useless within 6 months.
Their replacements have lasted less than 9 months. I'm trying to go
back to glass lenses but cannot find anybody who will supply them.

I see nothing wrong with being negative when it's been earned.
