Is your tde about as wide as the lap is undersized?

 

Put the lap on top of and centered on the face up mirror.  Look at the
exposed glass around the edge of the mirror.  Is that about the width of the
tde?  Wouldn't that be an amazing coincidence?

Really?  I thought the danger was the lap being to large, and overhanging
the edge of the mirror when it is being pressed.  I've been keeping it
trimmed maybe 1 mm smaller than the mirror on all sides.  Should I not be
trimming it this much?
