  And if you are using a cardboard box as the outer shipping container, 
use the fibreglas reinforced strapping tape to hold it together.  The 
stuff is expensive but the box will not rip open if this type of tape is 
used.  I usually go around the edges and corners on every side.  Nothing 
short of a knife will get your mirror out afterwards :-)
