Several vendors have done variations of this design with the lens
at different locations.  The lens assy. can be just a barlow lens
or can be, with the change of the primary's shape, a coma
corrector and/or field flatener.  FWIW, I've got a calculator for
this type of scope on my website - the name is TRACE - which does
astrographs which are camera scopes with a wide and flat field
with low astigmatism and coma.
