That depends upon how much vignetting that will be necessary and
how big the EP is.  I see about 3/4" for the 100% illumination to
become available and then the EP diameter needs to be added to
that.
FWIW, if you are going to use the .965" EPs then a 1/2" would be
added to that which makes the secondary to be about 1.25" as a
nice larte size.
