[ATM] Dial Indicators

I am looking to purchase a dial indicator for a
Foucault tester I am building. I have found 3
manufacturers (on EBay) - Westward, Fowler and Chicago
Dial Indicator Company. These have 1" travel, 2 - 2
1/2" dials and 0.001" precision. I couldn't bear to
buy the cheaper Chinese models. Can anyone comment on
which of these three would be the best? Or perhaps,
for this purpose, the cheaper Chinese dial indicators
will be OK?

After a 25 year haitus, I have purchased 6, 7 and 8"
used pyrex blanks to start making (practicing) mirrors
again.
