It sounds as if you have Rosanne Barr's "oppositional disorder" to anything
not of the KISS method. Does your HAM gear still uses a Coherer receiver and
spark gap transmitter? Great Scott, Holy Maxwell!  Edwin Armstrong's
Superheterodyne Circuit and his complicated FM system must definitely not be
KISS. And especially Hedy Lamarr's complicated spread spectrum idea is not
KISS. It's only used in every modern wireless cell phone design today.
Wonder why? Sometimes the less simple solutions offer more options that are
not available without added complexity.
