[ATM] Machine grinding

Hi,



I try to solve problems with machine grinding of telescope mirrors. I use
hand grinding by MOT method until now. I use tools of the same size as the
mirror is (grinding tool, polishing tool).



I would like to start machine grinding but I am not able to acquire some
information about this. I tried to read some ATM books but there was also
nothing about machine grinding :-(



Could you help me please ? I am looking for some basic information about
machine grinding of astronomical mirrors.

1/ MOT or TOT method ?

2/ Tools (grinding and polishing tools - should I use the same size tools as
the mirror is or subdiameter tools ?

3/ How about moves in grinding of sphere ? How long moves and accross which
zone ?



I would like to discuss on the next time parabolization etc.
