Ah, so *you're* the one trying the active 18in.

You can probably get an idea of the magnitude of the effects by 
converting the 54 point cell into support 18 rings of 3 points each.  
Then change the forces on one support ring at a time.  Except for the 
innermost rings, the effects should be localized to around the affected 
points.
