Mike,  Yes, that's basically it.  It would be strictly for planetary work and something to generate discussion at the local TM workshop.  I refuse to take the 20" but have taken the 8" Cass secondary which always gets an interesting look. 

The f/10 folded SP is growing on me.  4 reflection (I know I know) but fully corrected across the field, small and no obstructions.  Fairly easy to build (with a machine)...

If you want to make a Trischiefspiegler for the optical, mechanical 
and scope design challenges, that's great.  Sometimes I think it would 
be fun to do for the same reasons.
