Yes, we do aluminizing at the Chevy Chase Community
Center in DC. The procedures at this(these) un-named
observatory(ies) were sufficiently different from ours
for me to sit up and take notice. The biggest
differences:

(1) use of the Orvus horse shampoo with BARE fingers;
(2) use of ground calcium carbonate;
(3) use of a getter;
(4) use of cupric sulfate with the hydrochloric acid;
(5) use of compressed nitrogen gas to dry things off.

If we switch over to those techniques, we will have to
charge more.
