[ATM] RE: Testing the limits of ATM technology

The French site is very good. I had seen it before but never spent the time
to go into the details.
I see that if you use counterweights, the actual position of the support is
no longer important, it will adjust to wherever the back of the mirro is,
and excert precisely the right amount of force. The remaining mirror weigth
is distributed over the three fixed points, or the bipods. However, in case
of the CELT, I don't see that the 18 other points are astatic. Are they?
I believe there is a remark somewhere in the tail of the CELT chapter that
says the actual mechanic construction of the bipods is still to be done.
Do you have a Nastran licence?
