You might be surprised as to how "bad" the lens can be
and still work.If you're grinding your own mirror,use
a plate glass or pyrex tool and make that into the
Ross -  use the mirror as the concave reference of
course -just need the refrax number of the glass.The
plano side can be lightly ground and then polished.
